The Remembering
I was the worship leader, the missionary, the girl who longed to serve with her whole heart. And I was also the questioner, the one who didn’t fit the mold, but I was taught that my body was dangerous, my desires suspect, my voice too loud. So I learned to carry shame like it was sacred.
I grew up inside a system that demanded obedience and called it love.
A system that taught me to disconnect from my body, mistrust my intuition, and perform my worth.

Leaving the church was only the beginning.
What came next was a long, messy, holy unraveling.
Grieving the god I once worshiped.
Learning to hear my own voice.
Reclaiming the truth that healing doesn’t always look like light. Sometimes it looks like fire.
The Mission
The Sensual Soul Project is a sanctuary for those who’ve outgrown fundamentalism, 
but still feel the imprint of shame in their bones. We believe in healing through:

I’m Julia. Flamekeeper of this space, nurse, EFT tapping practitioner, podcast host, singer-songwriter, and bridge-walker between worlds.
I walk with those who’ve been exiled from certainty and are learning 
to trust their own rhythms.
My work blends the science of trauma healing with the soul of ritual, 
sound, and embodiment.
Through music, EFT tapping, storytelling, and radical self-honoring, 
I help people feel what they were never allowed to feel, and reclaim their voice from the ashes.
I’m not your guru. I’m a mirror. A midwife.
A guide with muddy feet and an open heart.
